As we read the Bible we get to know GOD’S Word better. Throughout the Bible, GOD has a positive message for us. A message of love, forgiveness, faith, and looking ahead. And who could explain that message BETTER than the words below titled “ different set of commandments ”

1] Prayer is not a “spare wheel” that you pull out when in trouble; it is a “steering wheel” that directs us on the right path throughout life.

2] Do you know why a car’s windshield is so large & the rearview mirror so small? Because our past is not as important as our future. So look ahead and move on.

3] Friendship is like a book. It takes a few seconds to burn, but a year to write.

4] All things in life are temporary. If going well enjoy it, they will not last forever {like children growing up too quick or youth fading into old age] if things going wrong don’t worry, they won’t last long either.

5] Old friends are like gold! New friends are diamonds! If you get a diamond, don’t forget the gold. Because to hold a diamond, you always need a base of gold.

6] Often we lose hope and think this is the end, God smiles from above and says,” Relax, sweetheart, it’s just a bend, not the end.

7] When God solves your problems, you have faith in his abilities; when God doesn’t solve your problems he has faith in your capabilities.

8] When you pray for others, God listens to you and blesses them, and when you are safe and happy, remember that someone has prayed for you.

9] A blind person asked st. Anthony; can anything be worse than losing eyesight? St Anthony replied, “ yes losing your vision”.

10] worrying does not take away tomorrow’s problems, it takes away today’s peace.

Prayer

Dear god you created me in your own image and crowned me with glory and honor. Help me to live my life so that I display your attributes of love and forgiveness in my attitude. Amen
